In dystopian India, the once harmonious relationship between humans and machines has shattered. This film delves into the stark contrast between the noble intentions of humanity in creating these intelligent beings and the grim, unforeseen consequences that have unfolded. Witness the dramatic unraveling of a society where the very creations meant to aid and uplift humanity have turned into their greatest adversaries.

Immerse yourself in a reimagined India where tradition collides with dystopia. This project weaves a tapestry of cultural richness and futuristic decay, from meticulously crafted environments to complex characters. Every element, including the haunting soundscape, is steeped in ethnic authenticity, creating a world that feels both familiar and startlingly alien.
I ended up letting ChatGPT take the wheel on this story. After what felt like a bazillion drafts (okay, slight exaggeration), it finally clicked and gave me something that I was looking for. Who knew AI could be such a stubborn creative partner?
Shoutout to Sketchfab for providing me the desired character models, as I then tweaked them a bit and named them Unit-6, the lead protagonist/antagonist (spoiler alert!) of the film.
IKAI is huge. I designed the world in a way to show you two sides of India - the crazy, packed cities we know today, and this massive, mind-blowing future. It's wild because when you're in it, especially with the soundscape, you really feel how big and chaotic this world is. One minute you're lost in the noise of the city, the next you're staring into this endless future.

The most rewarding aspect of this project was developing intricate level sequences and expanding the world around a foundational plot provided by AI.
Unreal's realtime render is a game-changer - I leveraged it to strike an optimal balance between atmospheric fog and lighting, enhancing the overall ambiance. Additionally, this project allowed me to further explore and implement Metahumans, pushing the boundaries of character realism.
